My name is Gail and having successfully run classes in Bothwell for over 2 years I am now delighted to be able to offer classes in my own premises. We have a fantastic custom designed Play Floor, Art and Party room and a nice area for breast feeding mums. We also have lovely new toilets with a changing area, potty and toilet seat for toddlers.

We will be running classes on a full time basis which means you will have so many more opportunities for classes and free open gyms.

I have over 20 years experience of working with children, beginning as a nursery nurse and latterly as a senior staff nurse in Yorkhill hospital. I am passionate about children’s health and well being. I am so thrilled to have discovered Gymboree, as I believe it offers small children the opportunity to develop a huge range of skills in a fun, relaxed yet stimulating environment that will be of enormous help for the next big hurdle of starting school.

Our classes cost just £26 per month and we have lots of opportunities for you in our custom designed venue.

Gorgeous new premises

“The first thing that struck me about Gymboree East Kilbride is how absolutely lovely and welcoming it is. Newly decorated, it’s bright, spacious and ultra clean – and as a self-confessed germ freak, I didn’t miss the anti-bacterial spray stashed under the counter at reception. But that doesn’t surprise me as owner Gail Gillon has 20 years experience in nurseries and nursing so she knows a thing or two about caring for kids.

While I am drooling over the Dettol, my excited mini researcher has already popped off her socks and shoes and in the gym….

Best gym bar none!

We’ve been to many gym classes but have to say the apparatus at Gymboree is the best! The chunky solid wood equipment feels safe and sturdy for little ones and is a fantastic assortment of climbing frames, swings, slides and soft play equipment. The arrangement is changed around regularly so every visit is a new experience.

Fun, educational class

Gymboree classes are well-structured, educational and fun and it is clear just how much planning goes into each class. The theme of our class was ‘space’ and with clever use of the apparatus, lots of props and loads of imagination we took a trip to the ‘moon’, visiting many ‘planets’ along the way and bopped with the cutest ‘aliens’ to funky music. The class finished with parachutes, popping bubbles and songs and cuddles with the much-loved ‘Gymbo’ the clown.

We are just a few minutes from Calderglen Country Park and a minute from Cafe Ceramico. Head towards Strathaven and after passing Calderglen on your left take a right at the first roundabout. Go straight ahead at the 2nd roundabout and then right again at the 3rd roundabout. Follow the signs for Cafe Ceramico and it will lead you right to us.

Classes offered

Baby Play classes incorporating fabulous sensory play with signing, singing, music and physical play. Toddler & Pre-school classes with the best apparatus and props to develop children’s skills. Art classes which are filled with the most wonderful range of art mediums to promote learning whilst having fun.

Gymboree classes for children aged newborn to 5 years are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. New classes are enrolling NOW on Wednesdays. We also now run Baby Massage classes.

At Gymboree we have a variety of large play equipment, slides, climbing frames etc and the layout of the room changes fortnightly. The first class is always free so give me a ring or email to arrange your trial class.

We also provide sessions for Nursery Schools throughout North and South Lanarkshire! We are delighted to be involved in a health initiative in the Richard Stewart Nursery Airdrie. Gymboree is providing Fitness Fun classes to both the Nursery school children and their parents/carers.

We are also providing Music and Movement and Fitness Fun sessions in Primary schools for P1 & P2.

Birthday parties

Looking for an exciting party to delight and entertain both the children and adults?  We have great ideas, props and equipment and can create your child’s party exactly as you’d wish! Choose from a  number of themes including Pirates, Princesses, Superheroes, Farmyard and many more favourites…let us know what your child loves and we really will cater for everyone’s taste! We can provide everything you need to take the stress away, from loot bags to catering packs; this way you can enjoy your child’s big day knowing that they are in good hands.
