Gymboree CLAPHAM is part of the franchise that has successfully provided classes for over 6 years at two fantastic venues located in the Gardens Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon Park Road and at the Vitality Centre in Merton Road Wandsworth.

New members and visitors can join us every day and enjoy our wonderful facilities.

We encourage mums, dads, grandparents, nannys or childminders, to have a fun-filled time with their little one, and we provide everything that you could possibly need to make your Gymboree day  as happy as is possible.

EASY PARKING IN SAINSBURY – 2hrs for just £1. Its  is then 5 mins brisk walk to the centre.

Parking is available as pay and display in all nearby roads – Northbourne Road, Park Hill, Briarwood Road, St Alphonsus Road,  Abbeville Road and Sainsbury’s car park on Clapham Park Road all within 5 minutes walking distance of the new centre.

Parking is FREE in many of these roads after 12noon.

Please check road signs before parking. Bus numbers 37, 137, and 35 stop outside the club.

There is no drop off point outside the centre.

Our wonderful classes include a room full of fantastic equipment, class props, music and more. Colourful, safe, and child-sized, the equipment allows children to master their environment and their body movements – a basic step in building confidence, competence and self-esteem.

Classes offered

We offer a full programme of development and age appropriate classes.

Come on over and climb, jump, crawl, dance, partake in various age-appropriate activities. Classes feature songs, bubbles and parachute time, and much more. Gymboree classes help children build strength, co-ordination, social skills and early language skills.

•  Level 1: 0 – 6 months – Pre-mobile  babies

•  Level 2: approx 6 – 10 months -  Acting with purpose and intention

•  Level 3 – 10 – 16 months – Becoming skilled in back and forth communication

•  Level 4: approx 16 – 24 months  – Figuring out how the world works

•  Level 5: 24 – 36 months  – Introduction of imaginary play /Communication

•  Level 6  and Level 7: 36 months -5 yrs. Learning to make logical connnections between ideas and more imaginary play.

Classes also include fitness fun and sport skills activities.

Music and Art classes included too!

WE are OPEN ALL YEAR. Current Membership Payments are made MONTHLY OR TERMLY

We have a ‘catch-up’ policy so if you are unable to attend a class, please call or email to let us know so you can book an extra class within a month (subject to availability). If you fail to inform us of your absence you will not be able to use any missed classes as a make up.

We also offer birthday parties and party play on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

PLEASE REMEMBER, ADULTS MUST WEAR SOCKS TO CLASS AND CHILDREN SHOULD HAVE BARE FEET.

Gymboree clapham…is the place to celebrate your birthday or your special

event.

At Gymboree, no two children or parties are alike. Allow us to turn your child’s favourite themes, games, songs and activities into a non-stop celebration of fun.

GYMBOREE PARTY Includes:

1½ hours of exclusive party time for you and your guests (18). Exclusive use of our Gymboree play room (1 hr) Customised activities and party games all lead by a Gymboree teacher.

Fun, Games and Activities will include

You bring the food (finger food & drinks) or we can (ask for details) while we provide paper plates, cups, napkins, trays etc, party bags for the guests and a present for the birthday child!

We understand how difficult it is to fit classes around your child’s nap times and feed times so we have offered classes at different times each day so that hopefully one suits your child.

If you can’t find a suitable class then let us know and we’ll try and accommodate you in the future when our timetable changes.

Remember we have bottle warming facilities and you can always bottlefeed or breastfeed your child just prior to or just after a class.
